Our vision

Our aim is to foster research in the fields of history of international relations, archaeology and heritage so as to serve the local, national, EU and global community of researchers, policy-makers and the wider public. Our goal is also to promote our research agenda by publishing monographs, volumes, articles in peer-reviewed important journals and in Valahian Journal of Historical Studies, the mouthpiece of our research center, organizing conferences, congresses and other significant scientific gatherings. Connecting to peer institutions and scholars within Romania, the EU and abroad and establishing close contacts is also fundamental to our mission. The center seeks cooperation, is open to hosting research grants, is willing to act and interact, to intermeddle and support with all its capacities and active research personnel.
