Livia Sîrbu

I’m working for over 10 years in the field of research. During this period, I’ve been part of various research teams, both state programs and international projects. I carried out several research internships in specialized institutions in Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Tajikistan, Germany, etc. I was an Erasmus+ scholarship holder (Freie Univestität Berlin, winter semester 2017-2018) and Abgeordnetenhaus Berlin (German Parliament, winter and summer semesters of the academic year 2019-2020). At the same time, I did 3 one-month internships at the German Institute of Archeology (2016, 2017, 2022). I participated in more than 40 national and international scientific events and published more than 25 scientific papers of which 5 SCOPUS, 10 in national journals, 10 in international journals and collections of accredited profile studies. I was a member of the organizing and scientific committees of more than 25 scientific events (conferences, round tables). Since 2018, I am the editorial secretary of the Archaeological Magazine (Category A, SCOPUS indexed). In 2016, I was the editor of a collection of articles edited in honor of dr.hab. Oleg Levitsky. We developed a series of opinions on draft laws, government decisions and other normative acts in the field of cultural heritage. I am a member of the teams for organizing temporary exhibitions and refurbishing permanent exhibitions within the National Museum of History of Moldova. I participated in more than 30 archaeological sites. I was an active promoter of science and cultural heritage through radio and TV interviews, the development of promotional articles and leaflets. In 2020, I obtained the “Maria Biesu” Award in the field of arts studies – doctor Natalia PROCOP, Valentina NEGRU, Livia SÎRBU, Marina CERCAȘIN, habilitate doctor, university lecturer Aurelia HANGANU (“Dimitrie Cantemir” State University), for the cycle of works Miscellanea Culturalis: art, philology, history. In 2022 I was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Research. From 2022, I am enrolled in doctoral studies at “Valahia” University in Târgoviște, Humanities field, History specialty.
