Laboratory of History of International Relations

Laboratory of History of International Relations focuses on the Late Modern (19th Century) and 20th Century intercourse between nations, states and non-state actors at material or symbolic level. It tackles topic regarding the European continent and the United States of America with an emphasis on Romania and East-Central Europe, Baltic Sea Region, Spain and Italy and the diverse networks connecting or fragmenting these areas in the two centuries and a half which stay at the core of our interest. The laboratory is staffed with full professors, associate professors, lecturers, DHC professors, associate researchers and fellows, and an impressive number of high-quality Ph.D. students. The laboratory is engaged in research projects and is willing to host researchers and to offer its expertise to those involved in similar or connected investigations.
