The Laboratory of Cultural Heritage is a preeminent Romanian research, protection and conservation organization with experts covering a large area of knowledge extending from Paleolithic archaeology to Middle Ages history and archaeology and Modern Heritage. Themes such as Paleolithic and Middle Age archaeology, archaeological theory, history of archaeology, art prehistory and history, the formation of the Romanian countries during the Middle Ages and the development of Medieval institutions seen in their European environment as well as a strong emphasis cultural heritage, museology and the protection of cultural heritage have been extensively researched by our professors, researchers and doctoral students.
