Costel Coroban is Assistant at the Faculty of Letters of the “Ovidius” University of Constanta. In 2018 he has received a Ph.D. in English Philology from the same institution. He also holds a Ph.D. in History from the “Valahia” University of Târgovişte, obtained in 2017. His research interests include: English for specific purposes (ESP), autobiographies of doctors and nurses from the Great War, Medieval Norse civilization, and international relations.
In 2014 he has received the “A.D. Xenopol” Prize of the Romanian Academy for his book The Grey Partridges. The Scottish Women’s Hospitals in Romania 1916-1917 as well as the “A. D. Xenopol” Prize of the Magazin istoric foundation for the same work.
